Last night I was sleeping away when I started having this creepy dream:

I was a 50 or 60 year old German Male in WW2 on a ship which seemed to be a civilian vessel. Quite large, like a cruise Ship. I was on this ship with a group of men who were attempting to break some people below deck out of a prison. Sometime before this all began I was shot or otherwise injured, completely unable to carry on with the rescuing of the prisoners. Sitting on the deck with my back resting against a wall I saw 2 of my comrades come through a hatch and began talking to them. I told them that the hatch to go below deck was on the otherside of the wall behind me and that they should hurry. They then just looked through the opening out across the railing to the horizon with a dismayed expression. Puzzled, I look around the end of the wall and clearly saw that the waterlevel was just below the deck I was on and immediatley realized the ship was sinking and practically sunk.

Immediatley fear swept over me, but then acceptance of my impending death. As I sat there awaiting the inevitable the ship began to list and I couldn't decide whether I should hold my breath or not( :D ). The ship listed more and at any moment I expected to at least be sitting in a puddle of water. Then the listing began anew only this time it seemed like the ship was destined to completely flip upside down and I was sure at any moment my head would smack into the ceiling of the ship and/or I'd be drowning.

Totally freaked out I found myself standing completely upright in bed with all my blankets on the floor at the foot of the bed. Being very tired I just shook my head, told myself it was just a dream, grabbed the blankets, then just fell back pulling them ontop of me wanting to just go to sleep. I needed to adjust the blankets a bit so I do so when I notice something black and about the size of a golfball go under my leg. I just wanted to sleep and ignore it, but then I see another and another and WTF my bed is crawling with golfball sized crabs!!

With a loud snort I woke up, shook my head, realizing I had just had 2 Nightmares! :D Went back to sleep.

Had a good laugh about it today, thought maybe some would enjoy it. ;)

Good idea. It all reminded me of those Nightmare on Elm Street scenes. Both cool and freaky at the same time.

Problem mis it's nearly impossible to remember to do something during a dream, also, you're compeltely unreasonable. In a conscious state, you'd realize that black golfball sized crabs being in your bed is impossible, but you have no common sense while dreaming.

Its a good thing I didn't wind up standing in my bed after bad dreams . . . .

My head would hit the ceiling. And I have a ceiling fan spinning fairly quickly right over my bed. A recipe for unpleasentness.

Doesn't work, I did it once in a double dream, and I still felt it (I was dreaming).
