This new EVGA case has blown me away

That's a deal killer for me. I spend enough time in a server closet listening to those things whine away.

LOLZ! Yeah, not doing that kind of work right now, but I have and certainly would croak if I heard that sound @ home! I think some 2Us which tend to have a boat load of 60mm fans are the worst.

Geez, I also remember running 60mm Delta 'ear bleed' fans overclocking old PIIIs and early A7; when I got my first 80mm HSF I thought I died and went to heaven 😉 How things have changed.

Price did it for me. It's a bit too high. I guess since it comes with a psu that helps, but it's all going to boil down to how much noise it makes when reviewers get their hands on it.

It is a sweet design though. With windowed cases allowing parts, and most importantly names, showing through the window I can see why they want as many parts as possible to have EVGA showcased...and getting the case will make allot of people feel more drawn to an EVGA card I imagine...or at least that is what I imagine they are hoping for.

EVGA doesn't have a very good price/performance ratio. Their motherboards are crap. This case is expensive but the DESIGN is what blew me away.

ever since shimano went over to gigy... eVGA hasnt had quality in motherboards..

😎

I dont understand some of eVGA's pricing policy either...
selling MSI lower grade motherboards for ASUS ROG prices makes absolutely no sense.

Its the brand name that sells

Looks alright, I do like the 500w PSU... if it's not loud. It would be nice to see at a brick and mortar store to compare with the prodigy.

Looks sweet for an mITX case, I have a Bit Phoenix Prodigy right now, this has a lot less room in it, and I like the room. But if the water ready version comes in around $250 and the PSU fan isn't loud, I'll definitely be getting one.

That's comparing microATX to mini-ITX.

I'd rather get Cooler Master N200 and 500W PSU for half the price of that EVGA

Surprised they don't have a case with a built-in battery UPS system. I don't think the Thin Mini-ITX motherboards caught on but most of them could be used with some kind of a UPS board or a power board for like a car with variable power input ranges.

There was a photo of what Intel says is a Mobile 64 core processor being tested. Imagine a 64 core cell phone or tablet.

ah wow

I was actually looking for the RC130 which was way oos

I ended up getting a silverstone for 38 shipped with prime that will do the trick

I like the design of this, but the price is a bit too high to be honest... Sometimes looks and build quality deserve to be paid, but for the same amount of money you could get a full tower. Ah well, depends on the customer and his needs. I'm sure there are potential buyers out there, especially since I know for sure how many die-hard fans EVGA has!

Imho they should launch the case itself, and maybe offer another part number with the integrated PSU.

Aren't you a CM rep? :awe:

BTW, the new Elite 130 is awesome, love that you got rid of that front grill that was blocking the airflow.

I love this and the Prodigy, even tho I find this one cleaner, I'm thinking in building a media center for my living room in the near future and one of them is gonna be the case, still haven't figure it out witch one of them.

Yes but I can still have opinions on other products 🙂

Yeah I like the Elite 130 too. But I like the 690 and HAF series even better 😀

yup.. as long as u act like a forum member and try not to side tour the thread to one of your products.. 😛

Read a review and watched the video review, for the price I'm not super impressed. The reviewer did say the PSU fan was pretty quiet, although he didn't give up DB numbers. I'm still very much on the fence about this case.

Still on the fence? After seeing the price tag I immediately jumped over to the sensible side of the fence.
