it's bio-hazard. The driver or passanger has HIV, so the paramedics and/or firemen marked the car. I wouldnt touch that sh!t with a stick

Anyone familair with procedures - is the warning 'just-in-case', since blood/internal fluids was/were present, or was one of the passengers / victims actually a carrier? It seems like a precaution they'd take even if they didn't have the test results.
The person who was in the wreck probably had HIV/Aids, and they have to put it as a "disclaimer" on the parts that he/she bled on, probably to avoid the possibility of being sued as well later on.

I would think someone actually had it. The car is in the junk yard and the lab probably already tested the blood.
Heres what someone said from the forumn

As it says, the drivetrain costs about that much alone from ford. Then you have three wheels, exhaust, back lights and bumper, passenger door, and I'm sure a lot of other things.
I dunno if all of that stuff is worth $6k, but mustangs aren't exactly cheap, eh?

Well, they couldn't have tested for HIV on the sceen, but perhaps the looked up his medical info via license, etc.
It wouldn't even matter really. Once HIV is exposed to air it dies in less than 20 min. How long has this car been outside?Originally posted by: diegoalcatraz

If you're that worried about the parts then just wash them down good. HIV is a very fragile thing.
If I needed parts for a 03 mustang, I would have no issues with them.
