This is the French Polynesia. The one you are talking are Philippines and Indonesian islands. Similar scenery but safer/less crowded I would think
 
BTW, my dad's been to this hotel before...he was staying in a nearby hotel and went to check it out. According to Travel Channel its currently the most luxurious hotel in the world.

Looks nice. Somehow staying in a tropical island in the middle of the pacific sounds more appealing that staying in the middle east
