This movie was so bad, it was the first ever where I...

...ever just turned it off after 15 min.

Sure, it was VERY pretty, great for still shots, epic

the bible would have been more entertaining

*EDIT, 15 min may have been an exaggeration, may have been 30 min. Either way, it had 0 of my interest from the start

Turning a movie off after 15 minutes can easily live you with terrible impressions of otherwise good or even great movies. Some very enjoyable movies just have a slow or very boring beginning but can be necessary to build up to where they want to go.

Not saying 10,000 B.C. is a great movie. Never seen it... one day I will but it's far from a priority. I imagine it won't be great but will be something that I didn't feel was a waste of time. I'm easy to please when it comes to movies - give me something that can at least capture my attention or give my imagination some exercise and I'll walk away at least entertained.

no this movie really sucks. I've hardly EVER turned a movie off before, but this one just felt like a complete waste of time.

Only movie I slept through was the Sat. night live movie "PAT"

Way of War was so bad, it has to be the first movie we shut off after 20-30 minutes. Thought it would be decent with Cuba Gooding Jr. Should have realized it was bad when I couldn't even find a review of it at RT or Yahoo Movies. Movies that go straight to DVD usually do it for a reason.

you're lucky to only have wasted that much time on it. terrible movie with no redeeming qualities.

I recently saw "man on wire" which somehow won an oscar. It was one of the most boring things I've ever seen. I slept for an hour in the middle of it.

Star Wars Ep II was the worst POS I've seen in a long time....fast forwarded through 90% of the DVD. Piss poor acting.....wow

bad movie, but like you said, the visuals were pretty. so i watched it all the way thru.

I did this recently with 'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist'. Watched about 25=30 mins, cringing my way through. Turned it off. Then finished it a few days later out of curiosity. I guess I thought it might get better or I would at least get one or two memorable lines out of it.

Wow, what a waste. And I don't want to hear the 'maybe you weren't the target audience for this genre of movie' defense. I can handle any genre - serious drama, boobs and gorefest, chick flick, family-friendly, musical etc. but I simply can't fathom why someone would enjoy something like this. Or why someone would want to make something like this. Or why someone would think, "Great screenplay, greenlight, here's a few million."

I slept through most of Pulp Fiction in the theater during a date. Tried to watch it again after that and it still sucked while I was awake.

I gave Aeon Flux about 30 min of my time a few years ago....

I'm still recovering....

I'm not sure what was worse, Aeon Flux or Ultraviolet. Not even good looking babes can rescue crap movies.

Woah dude. I am one of those Tom Cruise bashers...but that movie was decent. A bit weird towards the end, but it's quite good. Not "repeatable" though. The movie banks on the plot twist, so it doesn't seem suspenseful at all the 2nd time.

The movie sucks. I can't help it.

I'm all for one is entitled to their own opinion. But in this case, you really shouldn't have the right to have an opinion.

I have to agree w/ OP this movie was terrible.

Same here. My standards are fairly low for this genre, but it still managed to disappoint.

Apocalypto was great.

One of my favorites, YMMV.
