As much as I like Charlize Theron I think this movie is going to bomb. Something just seems wrong to me. The animation style just cannot be captured in a live action film, especially one made by MTV studio.

My first thought was that it looked like a cheesy remake of Equilibrium. The dialogue in this one, however, sounds really lame.

I feel the same way.

However, I'm kinda surprised that Charlize did the movie, seems kinda out of place for her typical roles (which is probably the reason why she took the part) That, and Angelina Jolie just seems more fitting for the role.

The outfit is not a replica of the one in the cartoon. From what I saw I'm not impressed. She looks much better in other movies (excluding Monster).
 
Who cares? Guns + Futuristic Setting + Charlize Theron = WIN. Yes, I said it. Charlize Theron is HOT.

I read an intreview with her and yes she signed up for this because it was different.

She also signed up to do this move and North Country before she got her Oscar.
