I first thought it was a story about the recession and a comedy about people getting fired but it's actually a character study of how miserable a person must be doing that....

Dunno. Looks like crap.

Wow. It's sad how much my life resembles that movie. I totally profile security lines just like his character!

Those are the exact reasons why I chose to not pursue consulting. Though, most people only do it for 2-4 years and jump into mid-high level management if they make it that far. But I would be 30-32 by that time and would have missed some of the best years of my life.

wow, this REALLY REALLY hits close to home.... I travel A LOT (ok, not at the frequency as with Clooney's character, heh, but I've been gone 5 months this year). I also profile the security lines like he does hahahahaha.

Sigh.. Let me tell you guys. Even though at first, flirting and having fun with other people (esp girls) when you travel sounds fun at first; it just gnaws at you as you keep going from place to place. I've made some of the most awesome friends in my travels, (Thank god for tools like facebook, chat, and email) BUT, you start to feel very lonely as you see family members on planes get more and more anxious as they finally arrive home to their loved ones. I see this every time and I think; hmm wouldn't it be nice to finally arrive "Home." 🙂

I can't go further than casual dating because I'm not at any single location on the planet long enough for girls to be convinced to keep it exclusive. I always meet, then forget. "I'll see you next time, or on another life time 🙂"

That is.. until I met this one girl...
But that's a whole other post, and something I really don't want to talk about.
Man, my post doesn't even make sense.

Well, anyways, I'd be seeing this movie 🙂.

Well that's what people need to do to weight the pro's and con's of any career they choose and decide if the money is worth all the negatives.

exactly 🙂. I actually don't get paid much, but when I chose this job, I went in thinking, "I'm young, and I want to see this planet before I get too old..."

Well, I'm still young at 28, so I'm ok. It's just a bit harder when your peers and friends are all getting married; and the amount of available friends who are free dwindle every month 😛.

I will say that I will NEVER replace what I've experienced thus far. I have ZERO regrets.

Anyways, back to the movie. It DOES feel like I've already seen the entire movie from the trailer hahaha. Nevertheless, it looks like it's been well filmed, I really like the cast, looks funny, and maybe the ending is not what it may seem; therefore, ya, I'd be watching it 🙂
