This makes me sad to have degrees from Georgia Tech...

Amen... I start class there August 20th. 🙂
EDIT: Should clarify: class at Clemson.
Georgia Tech's not a bad school, either, just not as appealing as Clemson. It's hard to beat Clemson's campus and engineering program. Although GT's engineering program is as good as Clemson's if not better.

just stay away from tiger town tavern and go to class and you'll be ok 😀 congrats.

uhhhh... I'm pretty sure GaTech beats Clemson's program hands down. And the OP doesn't suprise me in the least. Those types of people are why we have such good academics.

he's right. GT's engineering is better than ours, i won't deny that.

eh tech is good not great. The engineering program doesn't make up for the denial I'm going through over lack of girls. Seriously, you have to work so freakin hard to find social people here. To get a normal girlfriend.
It's too late now but I would think twice about coming to Tech. If you can find a more fun school I say do it; simply having girls to hang out with is a lot of fun, and there's hardly any of that at Tech cause the attractive ones are all in 5 sororities spread between 35 fraternities.

If you will have a car then it's not so bad because you will be able to go outside the campus to meet other people. Don't count on MARTA, it's good for getting to a coop but that's about it.

I love pissing contests about colleges. I went to a little private school in Nashville and somehow, even though apparently all southern schools are crap, got hired at Intel and a job offer from Nasa, which I turned down. I wish I went to a more prestigious (arrogant) school so I could have done better for myself...
