This looks like pretty good car wax...

Web Pricing:
Item #1999: $1402.50

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For that price I should be able to bequeath it to my children and my children' children ad infinitum.

I like Blue Coral two step (if they still make it).

simple, great deal if you own a carwash...but this one time, empty it, send it in day after day

just keep dumpin it in a bucket 😉

<< What do you think? >>

I think it's a wax designed to get mucho dinero out of rich people that believe that if something is X dollars, something X+10 dollars is that much better.

autopia-carport.

That's a good place for a lot of information. Read through their forums and the "Details, Details, Details" tips.

I haven't tried Zaino yet, but I think it is what I'm going to buy.

Zainoed

YMMV

Picture from the "Post pics of your black car topped with Zaino or Klasse." in Members Pictures forum.

Zaino...most definately...their products(all of them) are the Sh|t! 😀...nothing else touches my car (see pics in sig 😉)

Second choice would be Merguires(spelling?)

all of you suggesting other crap obviously havn't seen/used zaino and their products

<< A lot of people rave about zaino. >>

Yep...use it on my car and I love it! A bit of a PITA to use the first time but the results are worth it! Be sure to get the Gloss Enhancer too.

<<

<< Zainoed >>

EXACTLY what I'm talking about...just look at the car reflect...even though it is a POS import 😀

Hmmm ... was gonna pay you a compliment, but had to rethink that after the above 😛

Wow! How many coats were used on that car? My car shines really good with Zaino but that car is a mirror!

I think there is 30 to 40 coats on that car. You should not expect a shine like that with only one or two coats. That's why I included the YMMV.

I think the Jetta is a daily driver of someone on a corvette forum. There have been some discussion on the carport forum. If you really want to get into detailing your car I suggest you do some reading over there. Look through all of the forums, they have one for beginners that covers the basics.

I have been looking through the members pictures forum, that's why I'm going to try zaino. The cars with it just seem to have that mirror look to them. It also sounds like it will last longer than any wax.

I personally like Meguiar's products.. they seem to be very solid.. and have many ways of taking care of your cars' finish..
glaze, polish, buffing, waxing, etc.. they have a "step" thingy all setup where the bottles say what step they are, and you can complete all the steps with the products for the best result.. good products.. very good shine on my car.. showroom i'd say.

etech,

Thanks for pointing out the autopia-carport website. I sense I will be spending a lot of time there learning how to properly detail a car.

AU Tiger

I think you'll enjoy it, a nice site with a lot of nice people.

Pray for rain for me. I've been reading that site all winter. Now that it's starting to get warm, we get put on water rationing. 🙁

I'm all geared up to try and get my Jeep to look like that Jetta and all outside water useage is banned.

Does anyone know a rain dance?

i'm gunna zanio my car... depending on how this whole water shortage goes.. i may be resorted to bucketing water from the house.

but a quick question, zanio is a polish.. so would i still need to wax the car?

and does anyone have any good tips for clean/bringing back a little shine to the wheels?

No, you don't need to use any additional waxes when using Zaino's products.

I also recommend Zaino, expensive but worth it.
