1. I don't think the 7700cu will fit correctly on the Neo4. Try the 7000. And the Zalmans are for silence NOT overclocking.
2. Don't get the XFX card. XFX sucks. Get Leadtek for a 6800GT.

Kensai has a neo4 platinum and has a 7700cu on it, and he oced his clawhammer from 2.2ghz to 3 ghz on the zalman and the temperatures are fine he told me.

And you think that means you'll be able to do it?

Pardon me while I chuckle. Anyway, keeleysam was right about XFX - don't touch their cards, they're crap. Get LeadTek, BFG, or eVGA.

Overclocking is always a gamble, since it's very rare that two similarly specd CPU will reach the same OCd frequency.

DFI Dude, it's not that easy to get a great OC. Sometimes you might get a bad batch of CPU's. As said before, Zalman aren't for OC'ing. Try an XP-90 with a Panaflo.

Due to some online reviews I've read, I'd go with the MSI if you're planning on using the Venice cored CPU.

definately dump the XFX...lots of problems reported with these cards. Go with the Leadtek if you are going for a quieter system...

Do you guys think the OCZ Ram is good TCCD Ram? Would you Suggest Mushkin L2 PC-3200 or PQI Turbo PC-3200? Anything else?

My XFX 6800 GT is great. OC's well and is fairly quiet on stock cooling. I can't hear it over my TT 120 mm case fan. It's not silent obviously, but not loud.
Now please show me who is having all these problems with XFX 6800 cards.

Oh, and why is your name DfiDude, but you're getting an MSI board? Just curious, but MSI Neo4 would be my choice also.
That system looks great. Only comment is I would be wary of the 7700 Cu due to the weight. I would probaly get the AlCu version.

Are you on a certain budget? I could def recommend some things different, but we need to know how much money youre working with.

For starters though, what kind of monitor are you gonna be using and will it take advantage of the 6800gt?
Personally, I like the lian-li pc-6077 better than the 65b as it is cheaper and more configurable. This is purely personal perference, but thats what you asked for.
There is a prolink 6800gt going for $299 right now on newegg, at least save money over the xfx if you dont care about branding.
Your handle is DFIdude, yet you want an MSI board? im stumped
If you do plan on overclocking down the road, why not get the DFI which is a little friendlier in this regard?
And floppy drive? yucky! hehe just kidding

LOL im planning on getting this Monitor, its from azatek,

http://www.azatek.com/details.asp?iid=482

By the way the prolink is AGP which cannot go into a pci-express slot (LOL) just an FYI, u prob forgot though thats ok. I kno a lot of people recommend Dfi becuz of how good oc'ing it is but i think i can do good with the Msi neo4 platinum with the new Venice core. Also about the Lian Li case, its a good case, but IMO i like the Cooler Master Praetorian, the looks, how its build, airflow, Good Manufacturer :).

The NEC 3540 might be out if you plan on getting the parts when the Venice chips are available. Just something to keep in mind. I don't think it is anything but a few speed bumps to media that isn't readily available or too pricey for now though so it's a questionable upgrade. I'd still get the later edition if it's out but I wouldn't upgrade if you already bought the NEC 3520.

The stock HSF on the Winchester chips do very well for decent overclocking although they aren't meant for extreme overclocking. My A64 get's more than acceptable cooling from the stock HSF and I have over a 700mhz overclock.
