it may seem obvious to some, but that intersection looks pretty awkward to me. in MA, it would almost certainly be 2 lanes in each direction with a double yellow.

Its because the street leading up to the other side is a 2way street but where I am parked it turns into 4way

There is freeflow lane just to the left of where I am parked that makes the oncoming traffic turn into two lanes.
