i did a paper on pedophile back in college. i got on irc #teens,disney groups and nick group.

i went on as a 14 yr old girl (snagged pictures off the internet of what looked liek a 14 yr old girl fully dressed!). while on i got /msged about every 5 minutes with some guy trying to get me to have netsex with them. i recieved pictures and request to get a cam. one guy even said he would send me the money to get a cam.

I was slightly amazed but more frightned about it. Now when my sisters get on i tell them to watch what they say and to whome.

Yeah they are taking a huge risk in giving out their actual address.

Someone could fsck with their car, bring a gun, anything. The phone calling is pretty safe but giving out your address is asking for trouble eventually.

i wasnt aware that this crap actually happened. i always thought it was some bullcrap made up to scare kids from getting on the net (and thus ruining their lives 😉 )
