D@mned republican! Must be nice to be rich. ;)

Odd that a republican would listen to Zeppelin considering Stairway has subliminal messages!

I still have all the albums that I bought in the 60's, 70's and 80's. All the original Zep, Pink Floyd, Door, The Who, Stones....etc.

I have most of them on CD now, but I still cannot part with my 1,000 or so albums!

Good stuff.

:)

I still listen to my stuff on vinyl all the time.....people don't seem to understand that with a good setup vinyl cannot be beat.

I have an assload of stuff on vinyl...don't know if it would add up to 1000....but I bet it would be close.....I had a Beatles album out the other day listening to it....my wife had no idea who it was....of course it was a bootleg of a show they did in Germany when Pete Best was still their drummer.....good stuff.....good stuff....

would be sweet, but I'm not enough of a zep fan to justify paying more than 50 bucks for any of their music.

My albums are in the attic in England, so I don't get to play them. They cost me so much to ship there in 1989 that I was scared to even think about shipping them back. They will keep.

Funny about the wife not knowing who the beatles were. That happened to me while listening to The LAmb Lies Down... When I said Genesis, they thought the "I can't Dance" crap that they did!!

I didn't need to see that again. Now I'm thinking about parting with some more of my cash.

It really shocked her when she found out it was The Beatles....the bootleg is mostly some bluesy sounding stuff......then she was shocked to learn that Ringo wasn't the first drummer. I swear I almost divorced her.

How is the quality on that? Haven't picked it up yet? I've read reviews that go both ways...some say it is excellent....others say it is garbage.

The ones that say its garbage are idiots. :) I think it's great, just to hear the different renditions and changes in solos that Jimmy played during live concerts are definitely worth the price.
