This is why you should vote conservative

This is an actual "graph" on the conservative site. I can't seem to find it myself, but it was posted on Reddit. Might be fake too, but either way pretty funny. The site may have taken it down after realizing how silly it was to have a graph without numbers.

They should have at least compared it with the average size of a banana, for scale.

Define Liberal first and try again.

I'm a Democrat and probably more Conservative than most so called Conservatives in reality.

Then again I don't know Canadian politics that well so might be my bad.

Scale it based off the initial bar.

Just eyeballing it, it appears to be about 6x the initial amount at the end. Numbers would be better, but it largely speaks for itself.

"Debt increase" is a vague metric and no sources means it's bullshit. Also, their debt may have increased because their economy grew.

*waiting for political nerds who start arguing but fail to get the joke*

I fixed it, I think this is better now.

For the record this is not meant to be a debate I just thought the graph was funny, honestly I don't care what party people vote for, they're all crooked in their own ways. 😛

I'm probably voting green this year, I'm tired of trying to figure out which one is less evil.

The graph could start at [really big number] and end at [really big number + 1].

Evangelical polititards love graphs with arbitrary non-zero starting points.

It's concerning the provincial (state) election in Ontario, Canada. There's a Liberal, Progressive Conservative, National Democratic, and Green party.

...Parties are pretty typical:

Liberal in the "middle", tons of scandals, lots of wasted money, nepotism.

NDP will tax and spend and run up debt.

Conservatives will cut cut cut taxes taxes taxes (for corporate buddies) while not explicitly mentioning loss of services.

In summary, all = garbage.

Pretty much.

And it seems everybody wants to cut jobs too. Though I think the conservatives are probably the worse for that as it's in their nature to cut stuff.

Thank Harper for the TFW program that has killed tons of jobs. It's pretty sad when even getting a low skill fast food job is very hard.

What are you talking about man? It was dem durty liberals who started the program. Who cares if it blew up in size under Harper's watch? And didn't you hear? The restaurants will be in trouble if they stop the TFW program. OMFG, they're in trouble now because it's been temporarily stopped for certain workers!

And some politician in Saskatchewan (?) said that the TFW program is working great because the complaints from the TFWs themselves are low. I mean, why wouldn't a TFW whose continued presence in Canada is dependent on his/her employer report his/her employer to the proper authorities when mistreated? What could possibly go wrong with having workers, generally with limited local language skills and limited knowledge of their human/worker's rights, tied to a foreign country only by employment contracts that can be cancelled at any time by their employers?

'Liberal' and 'conservative' have basically become idiot-identifying buzzwords. It's like hearing someone talk about 'the cloud.'

'Democrat' and 'Republican' are actually better, anymore. They're still dumbshit labels for dumbshit people, but at least they have meaning...they show dumbshit allegiance to a dumbshit political party...but it's something. If the Republicans in power want to spend a billion dollars on battle tanks and the opposing Democrats want to spend a billion dollars on welfare, what defines one as 'conservative'?

Dumb. Shit.

Liberals down here have issues with numbers and would not believe them anyway or grasp that there was an issue with increased spending.

God you people make it easy.

It sounds more like you have issues with doing research into facts that disagree with your opinions.

Both sides want to spend. Your blind allegiance to what you've been told are your ideals makes you a sillynanny.

Red Squirrel doesn't know canadian politics either. We had a budget surplus for over ten years and were paying off our national debt under liberal leadership. Since the conservatives have taken over its like Bush jr, all down hill in every category. Huge national debt, lay offs of public sector workers, tax breaks for rich and large corperations. A million 3rd world immigrants. Voter robo call frauds, they are trying to allow corperations to donate unlimited money to politicians...

I was actually making fun of the conservatives for making such a silly graph, I don't think you picked up on my sarcasm.

All parties are corrupt but the current conservative government is probably the worse we've had in a while.
