Call me a crazy conspiracy theorist here - but I actually hold faith in our governement that ideally they are plowing tons of money into information security related ventures.

The problem though... undoubtedly... is our security will and always will be complete dog shit... especially because there isn't simple security protocols that apply across Federal/State/Counties/Cities/Locals (districts, etc.)

It isn't a matter of asking "Who can we ally with?" it's a matter of them asking "How can we buy up allies that have a history of disliking the US?"

It isn't exactly hard-rocket science to buy up shit-hole countries like Cuba, Iran, NK, etc...
