This is why the Olympics suck

Packed with sports that are weird that I give no Fuchs about. What the hell BS sport is this? Ball is about the size of a soft ball, appears to be a big tennis ball, almost like basketball they seem to occasionally dribble the ball but with a small soccer net. Penalties make no sense, I don't think the goalie can touch the ball only deflect

I don't think your lacking knowledge of sports should determine what is allowed to be in the Olympics.

I watched it on TV in the hotel while in Spain. I thought it was pretty awesome, and continued to watch it every time I had the chance.

Not impressive in any way imaginable. Proven by where else could you possibly see a handball game beside the local health club. Why were the Olympic stands only a little more than half full?
The stands are ALL half full on everything I have watched so far.

Here's an idea -- maybe, JUST MAYBE certain sports are more popular in different countries other than the US (hint: Handball draws crowds of 10s of thousands in other countries)? Maybe the stands at pretty much all the events right now (minus swimming and gymnastics) are only half full since these are not medal games?

Out of ALL the sports to pick on, you pick on Handball. Not trampoline? Not air pistol? Not Kayaking? (I like 2 of these 3 mind you)

Exactly and all the supporters of this sport are wrong and yes those other sports suck too, this is why the Olympics suck.

That is actually why I enjoy the olympics. It showcases sports that we never get to see on TV. I enjoy the whacky sports like handball. Curling in winter olympics is the best.
