I dunno if it's complete bullshit but maybe it could be exaggerated amounts of bs.

Reason being you talk to walgreens employees and they confirm there's a retail theft problem. I've seen Wallgreens stores in NYC which are completely empty apart from the pharmacies. It's even rolled over into Rite Aid.. completely empty shelves but the stores are open.

And who do you believe at the end of the day.. some one working for $15 an hour in walgreens and deals with this or the twitter feed.

Why would talking to a low level employee at one location of one store tell you anything about a nationwide shoplifting crisis? If I go to my local Walgreens and talk to an employee, and they say that they don't have a shoplifting problem, does that mean shoplifting is not a problem?

It would be interesting to see pictures of these stores empty except for the pharmacy.

My local Rite Aid has stuff in probably half the aisles. They simply don't have the cash to buy stock to fill them. Nearby Walgreens and CVS stocked normally, as are the two grocery stores.

When those losses are to large, the store closes. Local crime can also cause a store closing. The first in-n-out to ever close was due to crime in the area.

Any and all bailouts should go to poor people who will immediately spend it all on bills and needs and wants...which ends up in the pockets of the rich. Of course that would play hell on the ability of the rich to retain their serfs, which is why it doesn't happen.

About a month ago I went into one. That is literally true. They are definitely going down. No nail files.
