I got bored at work yesterday and was looking for a bluetooth watch. No real reason other than I was bored. My buddy sitting next to me found the Sony display thing that looked pretty sweet. I found it on sale at Newegg with free shipping so I ordered it immediately. Then I realized there were no reviews. That's weird because newegg always has reviews.
So I hit up amazon and found reviews. All bad. All very bad. Well shoot. So I livechat with newegg (I work in a call center so I can't call out) and they tell me that they can't help since its a marketplace item. They did give me the email to the place that actually sold it. I shot off an email and waited.
2 hours later I got the email confirming that my order had been charged, then another saying it shipped. Nice. I tried to fix it but it looked like I was going to have to learn a $70 lesson on impulse shopping. That really sucks. But at least Newegg's RMA is great, so I might have to pay some shipping.
Then just now I get an email from Newegg letting me know that my order had been cancelled and refunded!
Why does Newegg suck? Because they gave me no reason to no longer impulse shop there. Scamming bastards
