Why do I have a hard time believing this?
See the last two posts above this one.
😛
Edit: Bah.. Okay, the last two posts before the one before this one.
🙂
I figured someone would come back with something like "you're brainwashed, of course you don't believe." Are you telling me you truly believe that marijuana
is the healthiest plant for human consumption? I'm not saying its as bad as most people make it out to be, but I still have a hard time believing there isn't something more healthy out there.
He's just trying to mak a point. There are very few things that are as nutritious, though. The only thing that comes to mind is Wheat Grass..
I think everybody would rather munch on some hemp seeds, rather than juice up some wheatgrass.
I think in the context of the paragraph that sentence, they mean human material (not food) consumption.
Read it again, that may be the case. But it does go on to talk about it's fat content.
I've know all this for years.
It makes me SICK that the government. refuses to acknowledge the truth. Making it legal to grow hemp would also stop the deforestation that runs rampant around here.
If you do a search about hemp, you will find that it was Dow that forced the law through back in the 30's. Why? To artificially create a need to their new "wonder fiber". You will also find a lot of political families had a hand in it as well, for their own financial reasons.
On thing not mentioned in this article is that for a long time in our history (the US) it was illegal NOT to grow at least SOME hemp on your farm. It was needed THAT much. Also, there were propaganda films produced by the US Gov. during WWII to try and get more farmers to grow hemp. "Join the war effort. GROW HEMP!"
And yet the government. manipulates the facts, and history it's self for there own selfish reasons. AND to keep the general public more inline with their agenda. (Read they don't want us laid back and peaceful. Which is one of the effects they found POT had on the nations youth)
Ding! Ding! Teh winnar.
You people that say you have a hard time believing it.. Why? It's not that far of a stretch, IMO. Think about it.
This has happened multiple times in our history. The same thing happened with Alcohol and Gasoline in the 30s. We all know who won that battle. :frown:
It all boils down to the fact that it's a wonder-plant. It is threatening to other established industries because you can produce so many different things from the one source, and it is very highly renewable.
Along with other staple food groups(corn, wheat, misc. vegetable seeds), everybody should have hemp seed in their survival kits.
It would be invaluble if, for any reason, you needed to live off the land.
