Almost every page out there looks like ass now. Anandtech's homepage is horrid. Almost EVERY ad is some animated piece of sh!t that is annoying as hell.

But firefox makes it looks sleak and professional (adblock).

Internet Explorer

Firefox

There is absolutely no way I can use IE anymore. There are more reasons but this one is the most visually appeasing

IE doesn't have extensions. That's the only reason I'm using FF. Don't care about its other "features"... especially hate the fact that it's a big fat pig like Netscape. :(

I have to admit I'm sort of digging Opera. Hadn't tried it until a thread on here suggested it. So far it seems to be faster and less crash prone than FireFox. Also seems to do a better job of displaying pages. I'm not techno geek or anything so that it for what you will, but I really like Opera.

lol but it wasn't IE's fault having flash correctly displayed
FF is superior everyone know that
but IE doesn't suck in your terms. It might suck in other areas, but not in its inability to block flash

Well, morally you are robbing the site you are using by blocking ads. Aside from that IE is an archaic POS and based on the beta FF >>>>>>>>>> IE7.

I like firefox, and use it except on sites that "require" you to use IE. With that said, it has let me down lately. I've had it close on me randomly about 10 times over the past 6 weeks or so. Considering this never happend for months before, very strange. I've also noticed that ever since i got version 1.0.6, pop ups started getting through (only a few, but still more than the 0 I used to get). I also wanted to check out the trailer for The Transporter 2, FireFox would crash when i tried to open the movie, IE had no problem.

Do you click on the ads every day? If not you are morally robbing poor Anand.

i will admit that opera is definitely faster than firefox, but in my experience, firefox does a better job of displaying pages

Adblock can still "download" the ads, it just blocks them. So it still counts as a view.

No harm no foul. But by your definition, when i browse using a text only brower (sometimes I do to look up a quick answer if i'm already at the command line) am I robbing webpages because I can see no images or flash? If I dont install flash am I robbing web pages? A web page is a suggestion as to what and how should be displayed. I hate to say it, but if a site fails to due lack of ad funding, they either need to change their buisness model, or find other ways to get money from ads.

I do not use adblock, my mind has been trained to ignore advertising. In fact sometimes I miss content because it is hidden in a spot that looks like an ad. So with the exception of pop ups (which I hope you allow, because if you do not you are robbing a site of its income) I do not block any ads because I simply do not see them.

In any case, I do not feel it is immoral. I also leave the room durring tv commercials or change the channel. And sometimes I fast forward though previews.
