Sorry for the generalization. Dubai initially started on oil, but they are rich now due to wise business investment. Oil only accounts for 6% of their revenue today.

It's needed. If the people you are trying to catch are also in sports cars, the only way to catch them would be a sports car.
 
Lambo necesary to chase down the idiots in Lambos. And there are quite a few of them in Dubai.

I am surprised they have rooftop lights. Probably because there isn't much room inside vehicle once the occupants get in.
