I hate when people form search queries as if they were talking to a human.
Well, that might be nice to have a search engine that could respond appropriately. Most people can't speak "efficient search engine."
It also kind of sucks sometimes though when you're looking for a word that's a homonym.
Want to find a transformer that involves copper wires and inductance effects? You're going to have to sift through a huge quantity of links related to toys, large fictional robots, and Energon.
google search surprisingly pretty useful using real world linguistics for searches, because most often it just picks out the truly important parts of the query so it doesn't matter all the unnecessary connectors in the search query, and other times, it will help find similar questions posed by other people at random websites, which often have answers attached.
I hate when I do a similar search, and the top results are forum posts or questions at those question and answer websites, and they are unanswered.
Or worse:
"Oh well, I fixed it on my own. Thanks anyway guys!"
Then of course there's no mention of what
was done.
Also sucks: Looking for help on the Pro/E module "Mechanica."
Even when putting quotes around "Mechanica," I get all kinds of results for "mechanics" and "mechanical."
No Google, I told you
exactly what to search for, yet you still assume I can't spell.
