I'm sure Edison's first light bulbs sucked too.

"Not even lantern quality. Useless".

ROFLMAO! Dude, that's freakin' hilarious!!! If I didn't already have a quote of the week, that would be it. "Not even Latern Quality" Hahaha!

But this is way cool. The fact that he did it AT ALL is incredible! Nice find, Eakers.

The only useless thing around here is your post. Obviously you have no experience in research or development.

Good grief. I wish I had a fraction of the smarts that this guy had. Talk about thinking outside the box! Very cool stuff.

I dunno, some of my records sound pretty damned good. This is really sweet tho. I have a decent collections that I'm too lazy to go download. On the other hand, who has a big enough scanner to get the whole record?

How about just buying a record player? 😀
And hook up the audio out to the audio in on a sound card and then record it. That might be a little more practical. 🙂

Nonetheless, very cool stuff! Dude must have a lot of free time and be ridiculously smart.

Oh dude talk to those hardcore record guys and you get another story. A Virgin record is said to be greater then CD quality. Now granted, a recrod will deteriote after time and a CD wont, but all the same. I know some people who swear that Virgin Records are far superior to any other form of music recording today. With a nice player and a great needle you can get some good sounds comming from them.
