Fire chief: LaGrange man blown up trying to burn ex-girlfriend's body

An explosive south Fulton County fire was apparently started last month by a man trying to burn his ex-girlfriend’s body, officials told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Sarone Bridges perished in the ensuing blaze, but not immediately after the blast that started the quick-burning fire, Fulton County Fire Chief Larry Few said.

“Based on how his body was positioned, I think (the) explosion took its toll on him,” Few said. "The concussion from the blast could have made him disoriented where he fell, and he received the thermal burns afterwards.”

It is a shame law enforcement didn't keep this asshole away from his ex, but at least he spared us all a trial and the cost of incarceration.

Yeah, you and us (Alabama) being next to each other create a sort of infinite-loop of IQ reducing qualities. Of course Alabama gets doubly screwed, we got Mississippi on the other side of us.
 
Would be funny if it didn't involve the woman's murder. I'm fully willing to judge the dude without knowing his side of the story.

Though, in truth the stupidity is spread around pretty evenly across the globe...it just manifests differently in different spots.
 
unfortunately local law enforcement is focused on revenue.

9-1-1 put all emergency folks sitting on 90K+ salaries riding the housing boom.

More than 5 times now in my local news they have gone on record to stand down because it'd have been too much risk. In at least 2, some stranger went in and saved things.

Meanwhile around here there is a waiting list to join. Supply = lowering salaries or replacing the lazyass workforce.
 
How do we know a professional hitman didn't stage both killings to make it appear that the hit was a domestic dispute?
