This is the question . . .

. . .I'm forced to shut my computers down for two weeks when I go out of state to visit family over the holidays?

Currently, I'm at 97.5k, with three machines crunching. My number crunching SFF systems, a P4 2.53Ghz and a Celeron 2.4Ghz, and my full desktop A64X2 4200, are all working almost 100% of the time.

Maybe I should bring my notebook online as well, a Dothan 770. Its cold enough now that I could do it without any fears of overheating.

If I make it, this will become a party thread, if not, a remorse thread.

I've got until about 0200 on 20 Dec to make 100k.

I've got no idea as it seems impossible to predict output with S@H2 AFAIK.

But good luck anyway 😀 ,overclock the Celeron to give ya a boost to be sure 😉

99,060 . . .

I don't dare OC that celeron. 😛 Its in a Dell SFF system, not a lot of airflow in there. Not sure if the Dell bios will even allow overclocking.

Very unlikely ,but some s/w might😉

Though as you say Dells cooling is somewhat marginal ,it might not like it!

Gettin close btw 😀

Congrats on the 30k run. How's your crunching race going? 😀

Success! I hit 100k early this morning. 😀

Thats pretty much it for me until the 4th of January though. I'll be heading out on vacation for a few weeks, and my systems will be shut down to save electricity and prevent any potential mishaps.

I could always configure S@H to run as a service on the A64 3200 I got for my sister for Christmas though . . . 😉
