The Pistons lost this game when Dice went to the bench with 4 fouls. It was all Spurs after that.
Congrats to the Spurs.
Ok, I can't really stomach the NBA anymore but since it's a game 7 I had to watch. Couple observations:
1) How can Albert and Hubie talk with Ginobli's cock so far down their throats? Yes he had a good game. Not one worth of the level of felatio they gave him, though.
2) Way to call the game. Here's a thought, since you don't exactly have two offenseive jugernauts how about just letting them play. Now don't get me wrong, I love tons of ticky tack fouls as much as the next guy but... no wait, I actually don't. Good job NBA.
3) Rip Hamilton was freaking killing the Pistons. I guess it's expecting too much to want you to shoot over 40% for the series. Good job.
4) Tim Duncan has the fire and charisma of a rock. And not even a shiny rock. A very very dull rock. And why does he always look so damn confused? Well, at least the free throw line didn't confuse him as badly tonight as it did in games 5 and 6. In the end though he's still a choke artist and Will Smith Jr. bailed his a$$ out in game 5.
5) Ben Wallace is the man. Too bad he got zero help from the rest of his team.
6) I hate Will Smith Junior. It deeply offends me that a guy who sleeps on the bench all season and only wakes up come playoff time has as many rings as MJ.
7) The NBA product still badly badly sucks. While this was a tight game it was tight for all the wrong reasons. Two terrible shooting teams and crappy officiating. Having watched this I remain positive that by ignoring this league I'm not missing anything. I might tune back in next time there's a finals game 7. I doubt it, though.
