This is the first time i have seen it rain in nearly 40 days

WOOHOO rain! This has to be longest i have ever not seen rain. I dont believe i have ever been this happy to see it, either. Now once i get off work its time to go play in some mud pits in my Jeep!

40 Days? Wow. I think I've gone nearly a year without seeing rain over here. It's kind of funny, actually.. it rains so little here in LA that everyone FREAKS OUT...most people lose all driving ability (number of accidents increases 10x) and the streets clear of pedestrians (Walk a block....In the RAIN? Are you NUTS?).

It's humorous. Especially when I'm down there when it does rain, and I'm apparently the only one who knows how to not run his car into all the other cars on the road.

You wanna know how bad it is here? SE michigan is under mandatory water restriction. No washing cars, water lawns, etc.

If they FREAK OUT and drive more carefully, then I willing to bet there wouldn't be many accidents. It is when they drive in the rain the same way they drive when it is dry that cause all of those accidents.
