This is the best thing to happen to Bush.

I think Dem congress will make him a better president, like GOP congress made Clinton a better president. There is going to be real debate in the government now. The Founders knew what they were doing. This will make sure that Bush makes rigorous decisions because there won't be only Yes-men around him. And let's face it, right now, we need him to make rigorous decisions, party affiliation aside.

QFT!

I have never seen him as coherent as he appears today.

I hope so. I'm listening to his news conference right now and I'm not sure he hasn't lost all touch with reality..

The best way Congress could make him a better President is to impeach and convict him and make him an EX-President.

He's the same as he always was, we just have a different context in which to evaluate him.

George Bush is who we thought he was! If you want to crown his ass, crown him! :slaps mic:

So did he really say "F*ck you David. I'm tired of your sh*t"? Seriously... I didn't hear it.

I was wondering what that was, I couldn't read his lips, but there was a lot of bleepage.

I've never seen him more defensive and condescending, and that's saying something.

Dick's been running the country in some capacity for years... I suddenly have this mental picture of ventriloquist Dick with a W puppet on his hand.

This is the best thing to happen to Bush.

We have a winner for the best spin of the current Republican calamity.

I was listening on the radio in my car and just thought it cut out, did they cut it on on tv also?

What we have is GWB meets reality for the first time ever---and GWB is shocked---stunned--wounded.
Right now he may have a deer caught in the headlights look.

Willl GWB now get better---or worse?---only time will tell.

But I am betting on more devious---he did enough damage with half truths---now look for 1/4 truths and outright lies.---like in Iraq---his over optimism leaves him unprepared to evolve a plan B---and like or not---GWB really got kicked in the teeth---sucker punched by a reality he was unprepared for.
And finding himself---for the first time---on the wrong side of a deeply split nation--divided nearly equally.

I am now still worried that he will unilaterally decide to go to war with Iran---as a last ditch effort to prove he is not a failed president.

No. I want to see both of them impeached and tried for treason and other high crimes.

Remember, "impeached" means "accused." From everything I've seen, I believe they are guilty of many felonies, including treason, but they'd still have to be tried and convicted.

I don't want to see it happen in a flurry of vengence. I want to see legitimate, dispassionate investigations and presentations of the facts to the American people. If those investigations conclusively prove the case against them, they should be removed from office and face the appropriate sentences for the crimes I believe they've committed.

If they're found guilty of treason, I wouldn't want them to face firing squads. I'd be happy to ship both of them to Guantanamo for some friendly waterboarding. They don't think that constitutes torture. Maybe some up close and personal encounter sessions would clarify their views on the subject.

OMFG!!! They're still dredging up the "It's Clinton's fault" card.

Clue -- Clinton's lies were over his failure to return his fly to it's full upright position after landing. Nothing he did or said in his worst lies resulted in 3,000 dead and tens of thousands of wounded American troops and trillions of dollars in debt your great grandchildren will still be paying off. 🙁

I am a Democrat. I am very happy. But at the same time, I think Pelosi will make Bush a better man 😀
