So does anyone know what that huge spike actually is?

Before it was fixed, Team AnandTech showed a total of 575,000 (can't remember exactly) which caused the spike. On the next 10 minute update the correct numbers were fetched and the chart returned to normal.

When Nothlit checks it later today he will eliminate the bad tick and the charts should be smoothed out again. Smooth except for the bounces our steady stream of New Members cause.

I do believe the only way we are going to win this race is to out-recruite them for the next 11 - 12 days.

Have you ventured in the other forums today. New people are visiting them every day. Make a pledge to yourself to take a ride through a couple of them every day.

This race can still be won.
