This is SO HOT (w/ pics)

Looks nasty. Maybe if I knew what it was I could relate.

And, yeah, what about the Canon A40? How can you recommend something you can't even use.

Edit: Nice avatar. 😕

There's sweet chili sauce (which actually isn't that hot) on the Bento, it only cost $5.25 damn!

One day I will learn how to use my Canon A40 that's one of my New Years resolutions.

It's a Bento.

Pay it forward was ok.

Laptop was $600 off retail, DVDs were about 35% off retail, Canon was $100 off retail, Honda Accord $2,500 below dealer invoice, Bento was *gasp* retail but I did use my Alaska Airlines cc and earned 5 miles.

Nokia 3390 Gold cost $20 via T-Mobile's upgrade phone number.

Ew...2500/2800? Ugh....even though Compaq makes some of the nicer Notebooks....just UGH. 😉

Edit: AND a Nokia 3390....free from Voicestream no doubt. UGH UGH!!

Edit again: What dish is that...that looks tasty.

ElFenix - Sorry my evening will be filled with playing around with my new webhosting company.

Placer14 - Excuse me, the Compaq Presario 1500T is an awesome laptop.

I also have a Samsung N105, if that's more to your liking?

PAB - By the time I learn how to use my Canon A40 it will be down to $150 with a $50 MIR, hehe.

Gotta go, time to eat.

Eh, 1500, sorry. It's still a compaq. Of their whole line, their 2800 has to be their best yet. (Which doesn't say TOO much) It's alright...I don't hold it against you. I just didn't think much of you as a Compaq Man. ::shrugs:: It's nice anyway.

*Spelling

BTW, those fruit cups are amazing.

how much was the table?

Placer14 - What makes the 2800T so much better than the 1500T? The 1500T has a Celeron 1.4-M, beautiful 15.0" SXGA, TWO USB 2.0 ports, ONE FireWire port, ATI Radeon 7500MB, and more.

These fruit cups are amazing, bought about 50 boxes from Costco B&M a few months ago when they were buy 1 - get 1 free. They're best cold.

N8Magic - I signed up for a free trial resellers account with 24HostingNow.com, waiting for the DNS nameservers to propogate before my new URL comes alive. Will probably offer free webhosting service to family and offer cheap webhosting to AT'ers (with NO tech support).

spankyOO7 - The table is very simple and was $20 ($39.99 to ordinary folk) from Office Depot B&M after $20 off $50 printable coupon topped it off with some free after MIR stuff. Just wanted something compact for the bedroom.

BTW, anyone with the Canon A40 think the delay in snapping pictures is ridiculously long? It's a good 1-2 seconds from the time you hit the button all the way down till it actually takes the pic. My old Kodak was about 0.5 seconds.

Think about it... you give that thing to a stranger to take a pic for you and you'd have to explain the delay every time...

Alright, I should research before I put my foot in my mouth. I take back my argument as I see the SXGA+ AND P4 CPUS are availible, But I still hold the statement where the graphics memory is MUCH harder to upgrade than on 2800. As well as the following statement...

But then again, I haven't looked at the specs for Compaq's line in at least 3 months, so I'm sure a few things have changed. I suppose for the price 1500 is good all around. But for a picky user, the 2800 is better.

Also, there's an issue with the 1500s where the modem chip "unseats itself" on some units. 🙂

Jeomite - I couldn't decide between pizza, Mexican or Asian food tonight. That's about 1/15th of my DVD collection, the total is around 300 and I'll start selling them next month.
