I think it's really scary in todays day and age, how someone could destroy another person's life and reputation by just making accusations. These accusations can be totally baseless, and even after they're disproved the accusee will never get it off his/her back. Really scary. Whatever happened to innocent untill proven guilty?

Thats exactly my point. even AFTER it's been disproven, they're still finished. Guilty even after proven innocent.
 
In the last few days Mahoney has been shown to be a two faced, immoral POS. He has been instrumental in hiding the priest perverts from the law and the media.

That being said, I have my reservations about the accustions against him from a schizophrenic with no memory other than that "he abused me 32 years ago".

Give credit where credit is due.

Not even the Catholic Church would promote a pedophile to the positon of Cardinal,..........would it?

Huge jump from hiding a pedophile to actually being one. The fact that he might be a POS for hiding them is neither here nor there. It doesnt make him one.

That is so true. Look at the photo of the Cardinal they decided to use with the article.
 
not to bash catholics in anyway (even tho i am one) i just think they couldnt handle being celebate...(not sure if its spelled correctly) i also think they are trying to change things... but i dont think its gonna "fly" forgive my pun...
thats just one of my many opinions...
