This is scary! Do we even have 300,000 people ready to fight? WTF!? I think I want to start driving out west. I'm like 30 minutes from NYC.

I hope this war stays on their side and doesn't come over to the US, but they said they will burn America...does that mean they are going to burn us? What do you think they mean by burn American and it's people? Also, what the hell is a holy war!? Is that some super war? They say holy war? Define please. I hate that word! It's sounds like they are going to open up some kind of wrathe on use or something.

That doesn't matter. 300000 troops, doesn't mean 300000 armed troops ready to fight. Many of them are probably there with broomsticks and rocks, just to make 300000 sound intimidating.
Also, with that many, they can't all hide in caves and ambush soldiers coming by, they have to come out to fight, and when they do, the US planes will simply mass bomb them and take out thousands at a time. I doubt Afganistan has an air force that can compare to the US's to stop them.

I remember when the republican guard of iraq claimed several hundred thousand troops ready to die. As soon as U.S. tanks rolled into iraq, there were mass surrenders. So what if they have 300,000 people, I bet the barely have 300,000 rounds of ammo to share between them. They had better be good shots. I read somewhere (probably CNN) about the fighting going on in the north of afghanistan. Taliabn jets cannot even come out at night. 300,000 troops can do jack sh!t in this day and age without good air support.

Don't be such a puss Night201. Stand up and fight for your freedom if you have to. It sounds to me like the terrorist have you on the run already.

300000 troops is nothing in comparison to 10 to 20 fanatics in Pakistani military, who can overthrow the current Pakistani goverment and gain access to nuclear weapons... They won't be able to reach US with that weapon, but they can bomb Israel, which is a sure way to global nuclear confrontation.

Of the three other countries even recognized the Taliban as the leaders of Afghanistan, one of them has severed ties (UAE), and the other two are our allies (Saudi Arabi and Pakistan). I don't think the talibans threats are the ones that we need to worry about. If we start hearing this from other muslim nations then there more cause for concern. The taliban is trying to rally other muslims to show solidarity against the US and I don't think they will get much until we expand bombing beyone the afghan borders
