Not only sad, but delusional as well.

Yes California is the nonviolent campaign to establish the country of California using any and all legal and constitutional means to do so. We advocate for peaceful secession from the United States by use of an independence referendum to establish a mandate, followed by a nationwide campaign to advocate in support of a constitutional exit from the Union. By joining this campaign, signing up as a member, donating, volunteering, or otherwise supporting this important cause, you agree to these nonviolent principles.

While Yes California supports and encourages Californians to stand up and take direct action, to be bold, and to unapologetically demand the liberation of the people of California from its captors, we explicitly reject conduct or speech inciting open rebellion against the American government.

Good riddance flakes, take Oregon with you.

Not to toot our own horn but we are a juggernaut of industry, farming, tech and entertainment. To remove us from the united states would mean to removed one of the greatest assets and it would be a giant brain drain from an already dumbing general population.

This won't go anywhere.

LMAO!!! Must be kin to idiots that called for the same in Texas. At least Texas makes enough power it exports, same as refined oil products, California would be hurting for power and water

In far Northern California there has been a fringe group calling for the State of Jefferson that would include possibly part of Southern Oregon. There is no industry or even much agriculture there. Also In Oregon and Washington there is a call for the state or country of Cascadia.

LOL, That didn't work out so well in the past. What a bunch of babies...

Southern California would be back to a desert within a year with no water.

Stupid idea that's not going to happen.
California stands to benefit tremendously by staying in the US and:
-Silicon Valley automating away millions of American jobs.
-Hollywood selling entertainment to help the newly unemployed Americans pass their free time.
I kid... On a slightly more serious note, migration of educated liberal Californians seeking cheaper housing is going to change a lot of other states (TX, NC, AZ, etc) over time, and fix a lot of the political problems we have in this country.
