This is sad, Florida only has 11 people with Hispanic Achiever plates

I live in Florida.... wtf is a hispanic achiever plate?

Also, making Spanish the official language of the state would be absolutely fucking retarded and piss me off to no end. We speak ENGLISH in America. Fucking ENGLISH.

Clearly you've never been in Hialeah, or much of South Miami for that matter. Even the billboards are in Spanish. I've seen numerous younger persons (teens/young 20's) that are American born or even 2nd generation American and still don't speak any English. It's incredibly frustrating. Also, Broward and Miami Dade counties are essentially shitholes minus some areas in Ft Lauderdale and South Beach.

Are the plates issued automatically by the state, or do the people who want them have to request the plate?

I pulled into a McDonalds down there after getting lost on my way to SECOGS / UM...the entire menu was in Spanish. I asked for directions to UM and was handed a laminated 'english' menu. No one in line spoke English or if they did cared to speak up.

That's fucked up.
