This is sad, Florida only has 11 people with Hispanic Achiever plates

I live in S. Florida. Our hispanic population has pushed to make Spanish our state language, but where the rubber meets the road they really don't help their cause.

Florida added a Hispanic Achiever plate due to outcry by mostly Dade (Miami) county, secondly Broward (Ft. Lauderdale).

Sadly we have only 11 currently registered. I wonder how much the tooling costs were?!?

But get this, NONE in either DADE or BROWARD counties!

Culture will change like language with the introduction of new peoples and their expansion. Tis' life. But yes, the license plate thing is a bit ridiculous. Honestly, I wish plates would just be kept to a specific set up, no customization allowed on the actual plate.

Since the plates aren't even supposed to be available until September, what does the number of plates in August really mean?

Wrong. Try clicking the latest news link to the plates. Or try typing that without the www and you'll see you get the same link.

We've got all sorts of unique license plates in VA.

AFAIK, it takes a minimum of 125 orders before they'll press 250.
