Anandtech ads screwed up Firefox for me, bigly. uBlock Origin solved that problem entirely.

I used to get all kinds of moronic political ads here. It was like Taj was taking out ad space. All gone now. Corey Stewart is just using the Trump template minus the "lock her up!" part.

I use an ad blocker because the site admins are incapable of displaying an ad without the page shifting down. If they would get rid of the top banner ad I would turn it off.

Of all the sites I visit this is the one that bogged down Firefox to the point where I had to restart frequently. W/o Anandtech, it didn't happen and it sure as hell doesn't happen w/ uBlock Origin. Pages load faster & the whole thing is a lot more stable. I'll never go back.

Visiting the site on my iphone occasionally hijacks the page in such a way that I can't avoid loading a third party website and I can't even view a freaking thread.

So yeah, not going to disable adblock on my PC.
