So I had that surgery on my mouth last week. Everything was going well until like the last 2 days or so. I started to get more and more liquids coming out of my nose. I didn't really think about it too much until just a few minutes ago. I looked in the mirror and the flap of skin they used to cover the hole has come loose and I can see it move when I breathe.


Fuck! This is probably going to mean that I am going to have to have some more surgery to put it or another piece back into place. FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!

And here it is almost 2 weeks after surgery and I thought I'd be all fine and now this shit happens.

My mom called the doctor on call or whatever he is and he said as long as I'm not having any problems, like lots of pain or something like that, I should be ok to wait until I see the regular doctor, who did the surgery, at my appointment on Monday.

I hate the weekends when something goes wrong on Friday night or Saturday morning.

Any surgery that involves the mouth could cause drainage problems in the nose, particularly with the sinus area ... sucks man, I'm sorry - I had a stuffy nose and bad sinus pressure for several days after a root canal.

your mom will get a lot more than a kiss! in fact, you might want to think about that before she kisses you next time.
