This is not a joke but it has a fantastic message....

Shut up kid. Thank God or whoever your mother has been lying to you about every Sunday that you got a father who is willing to work.

Agreed. I think the OP should just use this style as a method for emptying out his entire inbox.

This is not a joke but it has a fantastic message.... Click here for a bigger dick!!!!

I've been clicking your post furiously for ten minutes. I'm not seeing the results. 🙁

KT

This guy makes a $100 an hour and is sweating giving his kid $50 for a toy. That is over $200k working a normal 40 hour week. This guy isn't working overtime to put food on his table and he sure isn't working every night past dinner.

Worst story ever.
LOL!

I suppose the higher the dollar value goes as the story circulates, the more pinched for freetime the working class is.

I guess this is why I see things differently... 😛

Saw this (obviously fake) story a long time ago (at least a year) in social media. Now I'm suddenly seeing it re-posted everywhere again. What's up with that?
doesn`t matter if it is fake or not.....
The message is clear enough. Parents do not spend enough time with their children....

That's okay if you thought it was a real true story then ignorance abounds in you.
But if you saw the story for what it was -- a story with a message then good for you!!

So, your email story is kind of like the Bible then? That's good to know. And we all know a JEDIYoda never lies, so there's that, too.

Did I say the story was real..no!
Any doofus knows it was taken off the internet....well duh....
What did I lie about in this post?

I posted what I thought was a cool story with a message! I don`t believe I stated the story was true......did I??
I feel sorry for you if you have to bring the Bible thread into this......

The fact remains this thread is about a cool story with a cool message!

As far as the Bible goes some people believe the Bible others don`t.

The Bible also has some real good stuff in it!!

I am sorry if I hurt you little Atheist feelings by turning the tables and asking you to prove there is no God and by not agreeing with what is said...

Getting back to this post if you do not think it is important that parents spend time with their children, so be it!

Peace!!

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $100 worth of your time with someone you love? If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family and friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.

Some things are more important.

put it in code formatting to remove smileys

Code:
If you have children....sons or daughters....

SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"
DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?"
SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?"
SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "If you must know, I make $100 an hour."
SON: "Oh! (With his head down).
SON: "Daddy, may I please borrow $50?"
 The father was furious.
DAD: "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior."

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $ 50 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

 DAD: "Are you asleep, son?"

 SON: "No daddy, I'm awake".
DAD: "I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier. It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $50 you asked for."

The little boy sat straight up, smiling.
 SON: "Oh, thank you daddy!"
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

DAD: "Why do you want more money if you already have some?"

SON: "Because I didn't have enough, but now I do.

[B] "Daddy, I have $100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you."
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. This is a 'glurge' story... look them up, there are hundreds. I had a co-worker that used to foward these to me all the time even after I told her they were all fake. But it warmed her heart to read them so she never stopped.

"You're not even my real son!"

would have made for a far more entertaining and realistic exchange.
