As far as the containment, ya. Difference is though that in I Am Legend the disease spread so rapidly that it was out before the containment was in place. People inside were completely isolated mainly because everywhere else went to crap as well. That doesn't happen in Doomsday(at least for 30 years), everybody infected is contained and life outside the containment zone goes on relatively unchanged. Other than the International isolation that is.

yeah, what kind of bugged me is that birds didnt mutate when eating the bodies...you think it could get airborne that way, but i guess it was not that type of virus ^_^.

This movie was dreadful IMO. It's amazing that one movie could rip off 28 Days Later, Resident Evil, I Am Legend, Escape From New York, the Road Warrior, AND Timeline. On the plus side, Rhona Mitra was hot as hell. I actually just re-watched the Descent, quite a good movie IMO, and it's amazing to me that the same man made these two films.

i have a feeling if most atoters got to make a movie, the female stars would be nude most of the time...lol

If you go to a Regal Cinemas to see it, it is a non-starred attraction. I was able to use one of the discount red passes that cost $6.50 to see it, even though it was an after-matinée hours showing of a new movie.

How do you get a red pass?

The wife and I saw The Bank Job on Saturday at the local Regal and it was $10 per ticket, way to much IMO.

I get them at various gas stations around town.

The red ones are $6.50, and can be used for non-starred attractions, even after the matinee showtimes. The blue ones are $7.50, and can be used for starred attractions. I used the red one for Harold and Kumar last night, and the blue one I got for Iron Man this coming Thursday.

Costco used to sell the blue ones in bundles on their website, but I don't see them listed there anymore.

EDIT: Turns out you can buy them through Regal's site now. You might have to hit refresh a time or two to get it to load.
