Tomorrow between 1-3 Wild Blue will be here to install my satelitte broadband. WHOOO HOOO

but thats not all, what could be better than finally getting speeds faster than 26.6? My company is paying for it!!!

Satellite is my last choice, i had Mesa Networks out here last week. they do line of sight radio broadband. the tech could not get a signal, too many trees in the way.

My 11359'th post on dialup. That's right, bow down! Charter won't run 1/4 mile of cable to my house, bastards. SBC won't install a dsl node closer to my house, even though there is a ton of homes + new development surrounding me, bastards.

I don't know how you do it.
I can't bear 5 minutes of dialup. I get overwhelmed with anger.

that's because you are emotionally immature, have the emotional self-control of a 5 year old.

Longer than that for me, about 7 years..

I was stuck on dialup for a while after I moved because I was waiting for activation of my service.. it was pretty rustic.

I'm still on dialup. :(

(after several years of living in the city, and having broadband, I moved back to the country. dammit.)

Let me know how your WildBlue installation performs. The reviews I've read make it sound a lot better than DirecPC/DirecWay/Hughes or StarBand.
