An album of mine from Tokyo, including a bunch from Harajuku:
Tokyo

Harajuku is an odd place where there's about 5 tourists for every Japanese person. I'd never go back to be honest. The novelty wears off after about 10 minutes of standing around looking at attention-seeking girls like all the other foreign idiots. But I did get my favourite picture of the old lady holding a camera + lens equal to half her height

The last two pictures in the album are of an Asakusa capsule hotel. $25 a night - and you get the privilege of a 2.5m X 1m plastic 'room'.

Edit: I'll be back in Tokyo Dec. 27th - maybe I can convince my companions to make a stopover to see if any of these '????' girls will be around. Then again it'll also be the middle of winter...

I was watching a Taboo show on NGHD the other focused on nudity. Apperantly, there is a festival in Japan where a naked man HAS to run throw the street and people who touch him get good luck. There was a guy who after trying for 30+ years, he finally got to touch the "Spirit Man". He was so happy.
