All you guys who say Craig is not suave enough for the role, probably think that he is not a pretty boy like Brosnan. Why does 007 have to be a pretty boy? He looks lot more bad ass than Brosnan, and that's the only thing that counts.

In that pic, he looks like a fuggin' computer nerd.

HE should have been 007. Gruff, rugedly handsome and women dig him.

Yup. I agree clive owen should''ve been bond. I thought would be perfect after those BMW short films.

dude, those bmw shorts are awesome.

i'm gonna say it... clive owen's pretty frigging amazing-looking, in my opinion. he's just an extremely good-looking guy... i wish i could be him just for a day.

Dude, I was thinking the exact same thing!
Clive Owen, Nicholas Cage (He'd actually be a god bad guy, I dunno how well he'd fit in this situation)

I actually think he's going to do very well. A bitter, ruthless, alcoholic killer with a massive chip on his shoulder is Bond - not the perfect specimen that Brosnan et al try to be.

The series needed a change, I think it'll work out great.

Less CGI
More action
More REAL stunts
A Bond who can act

All reasons this one will be better

Clive Owen? Uh... he has ZERO suaveness. he's completely austere in all teh BMW shorts. I think Daniel Craid will be jsut fine. He isn't suppose to have become the suave womanizer yet so he's suppose to be rough around the edges. If you're so caught up in 007 needing to be suave Hugh Jackman would have been a better actor for the role.

And as far as whoever made the comment that he shouldn't have more advanced equipment... that's retarded. That means the 3 new star wars movies should have been made in 1970s technology?

It would be so awesome if Brosnan does a cameo and kick this fake bond's ass.

he is ugly as sin....

no way can he play a seducer.

what a money-grabbing joke the series has become.

enough is enough.

I don't like him, Bond has to look like he will kill you WHILE screwing your girlfriend, this guy looks like he will do neither.

And whoever suggested Nick Cage, no, Bond has to be British.

Have you seen him in the actual movie?

Hes looks more like what you descirbe than Bronson.

Continuity isses aside, this is said to be one of the better James Bond movies made. Critics who have screened it have ranked his preformance as Bond up their with Connery and Moore.

Anyone who thinks this guy won't make an awesome Bond should watch Layer Cake. The first thing I thought when that film was over was "Daniel Craig should be Bond..."

In all seriousness, if you have not seen Layer Cake, go rent it. It is a great movie. You will not be disapointed.

This is actually one of the first Bond movies I'm looking forward to possibly seeing.

Agreed. The last few Brosnan movies just got more and more ridiculous. I feel like this one is bringing back a level of grittiness that Brosnan simply couldn't carry while still maintaining a level of sophistication.

The early reviews are spectacular. They're calling it "Bond Begins" and apparently Craig owns the role.

This will be the first Bond film I've paid to see and the first one I've seen in ages...

I think nearly the entire Bond series is pretty silly, but I am planning on seeing this one in theaters.

I loved Layer Cake, btw.

Watching Goldeneye today makes some of the special effects look really cheap and campy. The scene in Die Another Day with the CG guy riding the piece of that car on the water and with the parachute blah blah blah was painful to watch it was so bad.

This next 007 film is going to fail...I bet this guy will be Bond for one movie only.

Clive would have been cool.

the answer is because James Bond IS a pretty boy...a pretty boy that can kick ass. thats pretty much the whole point...thats the character!
