I can run NSF run

25x14 max no aa no af
And
25x14 max morphological ssaa 8ex aa
At the same fps
Minimum 60+
Average 70-90+

But when I turn on 16x af I loose 10-15 fps straight 😛

Still not bad 😀

And af does drop performance by 10-15%+ even at 19x10 even with crisis etc
 
Hows the visual impact of Anisotropic filtered pavement and trees passing you at 190mph? Heheh jk jk. I bet it makes a big difference when not in full motion.

does the framerate go from 60 min to 45min with the 16xAF?
 
With 16x af min is still in 60s but without af min is usually 70s or so.

Btw am using 12.4 beta
They increase idle temps by 12-14c for my 7970
Was 28-32 earlier. Now 41-45

I would have thought AF even at 16 has a minimal performance hit. At least with the last 5 or 6 vid cards I've owned in last few years. Even at average 70-90 fps, 15 seems like quite a steep drop for 16xAF.
