XZeroII:

I'm glad you think WWII was worth it. Perhaps you should go back and read what many Republicans were saying prior to that one "infamous" day. Many Republicans supported Germany, as did some Southern Segs. The Nazis were admired by many, many Americans, sad to say. My father became a Republican because he was in the National Guard and FDR activated most of them. (I wonder how many NG troops will vote for Bush next year?)

Anyway, the video is well done and its conclusion is correct. The Medicare Bill that just passed is another example of the same thing. One of these days you guys will understand it's almost always about "the money", particularly when no mention is made of "the money".

None of those boys died for anything worth fighting for in Iraq. The Iraqis hate us and the rest of the Muslim world is going to hate us for centuries. We will reap the whirlwind for being this stupid....

The rest of the Muslim world does not hate the United States. I am assuming that's what you mean when you say us. The majority of Muslims across the world think well of our country. There are certain groups or sects that don't, but they are not the majority by any stretch.

Dnugget:

I used the future perfect tense. :)

No, they don't all hate us...yet. But, at this rate, I'd say we are well on our way towards destroying what good will we do have.

Call 'em "Bush Haters" if you must, but that's how 1/2 the country sees the war in Iraq.
Can I see where you came up with these numbers?
No. No you can't.

Exactly as I thought.

Oh all right. :) I found them in just about EVERY SINGLE poll taken about the war. But here's a specific one:

Source: Time Magazine

Q: In your view, is the war in Iraq worth the toll it has taken in American lives and other kinds of costs, or is the war not worth these costs?

A: 44% Worth the Costs; 50% Not Worth Cost; 6% Not Sure

Supporters believe the war was worth it, whether weapons of mass destruction are ever found. They worry slightly that there is no exit strategy but view speaking out against the war as giving comfort to the enemy.

Opponents argue that Bush rushed the nation to war based on false evidence and without a plan for winning the peace, in the process alienating longtime allies. Worse, he took his focus off the real threat of al-Qaeda and the rebuilding of Afghanistan.

You'll find variances up or down a few ticks depending on the poll, but the trend is clear: The country is very evenly divided and polarized over this president. Time.com has a whole article about it. Read up.

I don't believe your study you just quoted supports your statement. The OP's video was about greed and corruption, and Bush's abuse of power for money. Half the country does not hold this viewpoint as you stated. They may not agree w/ the war but not agreeing and the statement that video makes are two completely diffeent things. There's no reading up to do, I've read all the polls. I'm asking you to show me how half the country views the message the video portrays as an accurate depiction of reality.

"Call 'em "Bush Haters" if you must, but that's how 1/2 the country sees the war in Iraq."

I'm callin you out on half the country believing that Bush abusues his power for money. Let's see the proof.....

Uh...both Japan and Germany declared war against us plus the Japanese attacked us first. There is no correlation between WW2 and our invasion and occupation of Iraq. BTW, Iraq was liberated?? What Foriegn Entity did we liberate them from? Was that the reason given to us by our President to invade Iraq? NO! In fact Bush stated in his cmpaign that if elected America would not be the world's policeman. How can you justify his Bullsh!t? Look I understand that you prefer a Republican over a Democrat as President, especially when you take into consideration the losers running for the Dem's Nomination, but you can't deny that Bush and his handlers have lied and hoodwinked the American Public! Well you can but you are only fooling yourselves. Frankly if I were a Republican, I would be rather embarrassed to spout the nonsense you guys are knowing full well how much BS it is. In fact, with this crop of nondiscript Candidates running for the Dems nomination I think you could actually be honest to yourselves by not making up ridiculous excuses for Bushes lies as he probably will win because despite his incompetence, he is still better than them.

Wow... Red Dawn, still around .. cool
You sound like a hippy the older you get dude.
'We' liberated Iraq from teh 'evildoers' stupid
