actually let us guess.....if you could join the military -- you would be a conscientious objector?? You would run and hide........
I bet you have never been in the military and playing soldier when you were a child does not count...

There is really no difference between the older generation of soldiers and today's in regards to seeing your buddies limbs or head get blown off, and the longterm effects of having watched it.

I would really love to know what the OP describes from his own personal endeavors as examples of what real courage is.

some examples. Being the man that your little your brother never had. Looking after your family when they can't. I could go on.
 
You guys have never grown up in an reservation outside a miliary base. I could tell you guys stories that would make you sick.

The one thing I don't like about nuke videos like that, is they provide no sense of scale. What would fit inside that explosion? A large city block? A small city? A large city? A state? I have no idea.
