This is how concealed carry is supposed to work.

Gee, a 6' young black male, and he got away.

Tell us another one, Steve. In fact, let's write that up for the newspaper. That'll show them gun control jerks.

Is it illegal for him to hold him at gun point until cops arrive?

In NC its legal for shopkeepers to tackle and restrain anyone that comes near the business while waiting for the police. If they make stuff up about having reasonable suspicion that they might steal something. Not sure about Kansas though.

There was a startling precedent where some jogger came suspiciously close to some K-mart dumpsters. A security thug kept the guy in a choke hold until the police arrived. The court ruled that this was legit.

yep i agree, that is how concealed carry could turn out pretty ok..

only prob is there's like 234234234234234234234 billion mays it could have went bad and someone would be dead...

ok fine. i assumed he had a handgun. just read the article. fvckng .38 revolver, heh.

Really?? You think one of those is what SandEagle was referring to, as opposed to a semi-automatic pistol? You can get hung up on proving that in the times where everyone carried a flintlock and John Moses Browning wasn't even a twinkle in his father's eye that pistol was the correct terminology - in modern firearms nomenclature in the US and in the context above my statement is 100% correct.

Ain't no kidding around when you threaten to take another man's valuables.

I don't know about you but my life is pretty valuable to me.

Ain't no kidding around when you threaten to take a man's life so you can take their wallet.

Nice story but um is it just that? What evidence at all is there that this even happened? I guess I have no reason to believe it didn't, though.

I bet it happens a lot more than is reported.

A ton more if you count people who simply brandish their gun instead of point it at someone.

Or simply indicate there is an easier target and I see your hooded ass coming and am ready. Situational awareness above all.

Knowing the neighborhood, highly likely that it happened. Also likely that they're passing around security camera photos to all the cops, to see if they can get an ID. If they don't, the photos will go public in a few days.

Lot of good that will do with his skittle hoodie.

You see somebody cover their face approach you. Be ready.

You think they don't slink around without showing their face because they're cold?

Old man knew what's up and handled that skittle.

You can see multiple hollow point rounds including one down the barrel. No reason to believe it's not fully-loaded.

I guess you don't own a revolver. When the hammer gets pulled back the cylinder rotates counter clockwise from shooter's perspective. You can't see that round.

Joke only revolver lovers would get maybe? 😕

Yes. 😛

I love watching gun nutters get all bent out of shape when someone says clip instead of magazine. I'm never using the term magazine again. From now on it is a clip.

You do realize that there is a difference between a clip and a magazine? Just want to make sure you aren't using the term out of ignorance and instead are just trolling.
