This is expensive...

Not a big cell phone guy. Don't text at all. Do not have a smart phone.

But, for web access/email/gps/camera, etc, I would like one of the newest top phones(Bionic comes to mind, or other similar ones...). But, I cannot believe how expensive these rate plans are.

Does anyone have plans less than $50 a month, but also with the top, new phones?

One of the lower-end Samsung or HTC devices are reasonable. They're at least amongst the better smartphone providers. The Samsung Wave II seems a capable phone, and not as expensive as the higher end stuff like the Captivate or Galaxy S.

Wait till the Atrix comes to ATT.
$40 plan +$15 data = $55.
You can find a way to get 20% if you look hard enough.
That will keep your bill around $55 with taxes.
You can do this with tmobile too.
Pick the phone you like.

YUP. $40+$10 = $50 since you don't need texting.
I can easily show you a site where you can get 15% and your total bill will be less than $50 each month.
But I would wait till the next slew of phones coming out.
