This money is to cover her expenses in Paris. $22 million coming from the Palestinians account. The Palestinians need the money a lot more than this ugly B*@&$. $22 million can go far in Palestine. According to Palestinian officials, the money that Suha is expected to receive will come from secret accounts held by Arafat and his cronies in various countries. They estimated that at least $4 billion were being held in these secret accounts.

Anyways, $22 million/year seems like a lot, but I guess it would depend on how Arafat got that $4 billion or so.

This is true. Wealth is far too concentrated in the upper echelon. However, any plans to redistrubute that wealth comes with cries of communism or socialism.

While the source of money is suspect, this is no different than how any other hundreds of thousands of millionaires live.

The issue isn't how much money she's receiving; it's the methods that Arafat used to originally obtain it. If he had earned all that money legally no one would care that she will be receiving 22 million a year. This really has nothing to do with wealth concentration or socialism.
