You need to clean that room, people are going to think you have a hoarding problem starting.

P.S. After a couple of the TV shows on hoarding, I am convinced every little messIi see is a budding hoarder.

It filters the water so when the water dries it leaves no spots at all so you don't have to dry the car. Works great and I have a black car so it worked awesome. Wasn't cheap at all though.
 
Ohh... you can still buy deionizing systems, but they aren't cheap and the media replacements aren't cheap either (but can be, if you know a little chemistry).

A bottle of the special soap and the filter are ~$8 each and lasted probably 3 or 4 washings and the unit is ~$20 but made washing super easy.
