Couldn't agree more... this card that OP pictured is from right around the time (or justly slightly after) I started tinkering with custom spec machines. I think my first 'real' upgrade to a discrete GPU was either a 6800GT (BFG Tech) or 7800GS, and the rest is history. Oof, to think about how much I've actually spent on GPU's since those days when they didn't really cost that much, even for a teenager.

Nowadays every time I buy a card I have that inner 'wth am i doing?' monologue before ultimately grabbing my CC lol
